Watering Schedule Sheet

• Water the first time by letting a hose slowly trickle around the base of the tree for about an hour. This helps eliminate the air pockets surrounding the root ball.
  
  
• Water once a day for the first week and then a couple times a week thereafter through the season. Trees planted in heavy soils should be checked to avoid over watering. Spraying the leaves in the evening is beneficial in hot weather.
